How Much Does It Cost To Live In Dalvey Estate — White House Park in 2025

Street Overview

Tucked between the Botanic Gardens and Stevens Road, Dalvey Estate and White House Park is one of those GCB areas which history is well very well documented. Searches on Google returned with several articles and pieces about the long and rich history of this neighbourhood.

You can read about it here.

Here’s the TL;DR

- Once home to colonial merchants, nation-builders,
- Australian High Commission and Israeli Embassy call this place home
- Dalvey Estate and White House Park form one of Singapore’s oldest and most pedigreed GCB enclaves.
- Landmarks include Glencaird and Arwaa Mansion

Dalvey Estate and White House Park is not foreign to me, even before I started my research on this article, I’ve driven past this road many times but I will never forget the first time I saw Arwaa Mansion from the bend along Dalvey Road. It’s perhaps the most famous spot in the whole enclave and in fact, many couples take their wedding pictures with the lush greens and majestic structure in the background and unless you know where it is or someone had told you where it was taken, you wouldn’t have guessed that it’s in Singapore.

A little further in, Glencaird House, one of the four original homes built along White House Park still stands. It was built in the late 1800s and designed by R. A. J. Bidwell — the same mind behind Raffles Hotel.

And like Cluny next door, Dalvey and White House Park brush right against the Botanic Gardens.
